Kalox is designed to be private by default. The short version: your data stays on your device. Kalox does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
None. Kalox does not require an account, and it does not send your data to us or to anyone else. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind in the app.
Everything you create in Kalox — workout logs, programs, skill-tree progress, goals, personal records, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can also erase it at any time from within the app.
Kalox can use your device's camera to track your exercise form and count repetitions in real time. All camera processing happens entirely on your device using on-device pose estimation. Camera frames are never uploaded, stored remotely, or shared. If you choose to record a set, the video is saved only to your device's photo library, under your control.
If you record a workout clip and choose to save it, Kalox writes the video to your photo library. Kalox does not read, scan, or upload the contents of your photo library.
If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to a server.
Kalox does not currently use any third-party services that receive your data. If future versions add optional online features (such as social sharing or cloud backup), they will be strictly opt-in, this policy will be updated first, and no existing data will be uploaded without your explicit action.
Kalox is intended for adults (18+). It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
